FAR POINT uses Microsoft Project software as a tool to assist with project management activities. This software enables us to automate the tasks of resource allocation and progress tracking, by facilitating the establishment of workload estimates and task dependencies within a structured framework. It also provides us with a variety of different output formats to allow our customers to observe the progress of a project, and to clarify responsibilities and deliverables for all participants. FAR POINT's approach to project management ensures that our applications are fully documented with a detailed Functional Requirements Specification (FRS), Implementation Design Document, and in-line comments within the code itself. Our approach to systems design means that our code is simple, consistently constructed using proven design methodologies, and broken into logical modular components wherever possible.
